I have been involved with residential architecture for most of my career, which spans many years. I have practised mostly in Scotland and sometimes beyond in England and in France. I studied, initially, at Glasgow School of Art and finally completed my Diploma in Architecture at Canterbury School of Art. I have been involved in new housing and alterations to existing houses with addition of extensions and complete redesign of the interior of dwelling houses.
I believe the client is a most important element of the design and I always encourage them to provide their thoughts on how they want to live and comment on the sketch schemes
before we progress to Planning Stage.
