Tigh Crom
The house is constructed with an exposed green oak frame internally and hemp insulation filled wall and roof panels, with a moss sedum roof finish to the rear. The exposed green oak frame internally expresses the facetted geometry of the house and creates a pleasing visual effect.
A glazed oak ‘shard’ dissects the main roof and is expressed as a glazed gable on the main elevation.
The selection of neutral colours and simple finishes internally creates a calm interior and allows the stunning views to dominate.
The use of natural building materials includes oak, hemp insulation, lime render, slate and moss sedum roofs.
A beautiful house in a stunning location.
